- Account information: email address, password (hashed), display name, and authentication tokens.
- Training profile: age, weight, training experience, goals, injuries, and equipment access.
- Workout data: programs, sessions, sets, reps, weights, rest times, perceived exertion (RPE), and notes you log.
- Payment information: processed by Stripe; we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
- Support communications: messages you send us.
Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, actions taken, timestamps, and approximate device or browser characteristics.
- Device data: IP address, operating system, browser, and device identifiers.
- Cookies and similar technologies: used for authentication, preferences, and analytics.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To generate personalized training programs and progression suggestions, including via AI models.
- To authenticate you, secure your account, and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions through Stripe.
- To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. AI Program Generation
When you request an AI-generated program, we send portions of your training profile and goals to third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI) to generate program content. We do not authorize these providers to use your data to train their general-purpose models. We retain AI generation requests and responses to improve the Service and for diagnostics.
4. How We Share Information
We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: hosting, databases, analytics, email delivery, payment processing (Stripe), and AI model providers (such as OpenAI), each bound by confidentiality and data-handling obligations.
- Legal compliance: when required by law, court order, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of LiftArc, users, or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to continued protection under a policy at least as protective as this one.
- With your consent: for any other disclosure you authorize.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Data Retention
We retain account and workout data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and tax compliance.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
7. Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and restricted access controls. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

LiftArc is operated from the United States. If you use the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries with different data protection laws than your own.
